Multiplication Chart

Multiplication charts are very common among the primary and secondary students of school. These charts consist of multiplication tables of different numbers. Memorising these charts is very helpful for students to do complex multiplication or calculation in Maths.

Multiplication charts or tables do not just help in schools but also in real-life situations. Whether we need to manage the budget at home or manage any business, these tables help us to solve such problems quickly.

At primary school, students should learn the tables from 1 to 10 at least and at secondary school, they should by-heart the tables from 1 to 20. It will help to score good marks in their Maths exams. Find downloadable Maths tables from 2 to 30, here at BYJU’S.

In the above chart, we can see, if we go column-wise, then the table of 1 to 10 is equal to the row-wise table of 1 to 10. This is a simple multiplication trick to remember the table from 1 to 10.

For example, if we see the table of 2 column-wise, the values are: 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20.

And if we see the table of 2 row-wise, the values are: 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20.

Therefore, in both ways, in the multiplication chart, the values are the same.
